I graduated as a Welder in 1980 from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. I gained my experience working for Vancouver Shipyard for 15 years as a pipe welder and later became involved in ship construction and repair. I worked with both owners Tom Ferns and Jim McFadden prior to joining Meridian Marine in 2000. I am certified CWB Supervisor by the Canadian Welding Bureau. As Welding Foreman, my responsibilities include:

• Preparation and Documentation all welding procedures
• Check the quality of welds as required by the CWB
• Provide training to new welders
